The Lotus Mountain Forest Park is located in the Dazhaugke Country in the southeast mountains of Yanqing District. Covering an area of 6 square kilometers, the vegetation coverage reaches to more than 80%. It is a great resort for forest-clad mountains, lush vegetation, a peaceful environment as well as a temperate climate. Close to Changchi Road, it is accessible.

Lotus Mountain Forest Park is most well-known for its lotus shaped mountain. The Lotus Mountain is not only famous for the legend of the “Lotus Beauty” and the Han Zhongli immortals story, but also for its strange mountains, beautiful water, dense forest and its scenic, deep canyon. There are assorted varieties of plants in the park such as Chinese pine, birch, aspen etc. And fruit trees as Chinese chestnut, black date, hill haw, apricot, apple and pear can be seen dotting the slopes of Yangpo Mountain. The local specialties here are chestnuts, Chinese dates, apples, pears, apricots etc. In addition, 100 hectares of natural original secondary forests have been well preserved in the park.
