Baihua Mountain Nature Reserve is located in the mountains at the junction of Fangshan and Mentougou District. Baihua Mountain is high and steep, with an elevation of 1,800 to 2,000 meters. The main peak is 1,991 meters above sea level and Baicaopan the highest peak is 2,050 meters above sea level; making it the thrid tallest peak in Beijing.

Baihua Mountain is famous for flowers, its varieties of flowers and plants impart the area with a beautiful fragrance of flowers in three seasons. The sub-alpine meadow, located near the peak, is the home to 40 species of meadow plants. Various categories of flowers and plants are dotted in the natural secondary forest and scrub-grasslands. Flowers and plants are all over the mountains and plains, decorating the mountain gorgeously and vividly in summer.

How to get there: Bus No. 929 Zhi from the west of Pingguoyuan Subway Station to Baihuashan Lukou, and then you could walk to the Baihua Mountain.

Bus Route: Take Bus No. 336, 326 and get off at Hetan Stop. Then take the special tourism bus to Baihua Mountain.

Self-driving Route: Drive along Fushi Road and arrive at Shuangyu Huandao and Longquan Hotel, then following the signbord of the scenic spot through No. 109 National Highway to the destination.
