There are various wetlands in Beijing Olympic Green Park. Their plant-life consist of reeds, cattails, cyperus glomeratus, calamus and cannas, making people feel as they were in a watertowm. Taking advantage of the difference of elevation, “Dieshui Huatai” features a triple-layered terrace with cascading waters, forming a small beautiful waterfall of numerous sounds. The crisscross ancient wooden trestle beside the water is not only convenient for tourists to appreciate the aquatic plants at close range, but make them feel real the murmuring flowing water and leafy reeds.

There is a bridge submerged in the water, and the structure of the bridge is divided into concrete and glass. The bridge was designed as submerged corridor, when people walking on the bridge just like walking underwater. Walking in the bridge, tourists can not only appreciate the wetland landscape close up, but also watch the fish swimming and how plant roots purify the water quality. The bridge in the water also can slow down the water flowing that enhance the effect of purification of water quality.
