Located 3 kilometers from Heilongtan, Miyun District, the First Waterfall in Beijing is 103 kilometers away from Beijing. As the largest streamflow waterfall in suburb Beijing, it was formed by spring waters of Yunmen Mountain and has a drop of 62.5 meters and a slope at 85 degrees elevation. Entering the valley, people will first hear the thundering sound of the waterfall before seeing it. The water cascades from the waterfall, flying and splashing with the appearance of jade from afar, and up close a dramatic mist rises from the waters.

At the scenic spot, there are many natural sights such as the Liutan Lianzhu, Tongtain Pagoda, Fairyland on Earth, Gaoxia Pinghu etc. With a fall of 200 meters, the total length of the scenic spot site about 3 kilometer. From “Guzun Yingke” to “Liutan Lianzhu”, it has ten unique waterfalls and ponds including 4 waterfalls with more than 10 meters and hydraulic drops from 3m to 5m. Under the waterfalls, there are various deep pools, including the unique and unfathomable pool of the first waterfall. Liutan Lianzhu is a famous sight in the spot. With different size and different depth, each pond of six ponds is set one after another that were beautifully created by nature.
