Located in the valley, 2.5 kilometers from Huo Village, Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Shuanglong Gorge is known as “Little Jiuzhaigou Valley in western Beijing”, “Baipu Valley”.

The spot is rich in water resources, luxuriant forests, varieties of animals and plants, with vegetation coverage at about 95%. The highest peak is about 1646 meters, from which are formed two big waterfalls standing more than 29 meters tall, plus hundreds of small waterfalls under several meters tall. Rivers, ponds, green valleys and red rocks constitute splendid scenery. Tourists can admire apricot blossoms and enjoy this fantastic spectacle that is the coexistence of wild flowers and icefalls in spring. In summer, they can appreciate streams, waterfalls, pools, forests, aspens, willows, and the resort of peace and happiness.
