If you ask me which place have I been to many times in Beijing, it must be Nanluoguxiang. Not only due to its convenience of accessibility, it attracts visitors for full of all kinds of snacks and shops. Nanluoguxiang is also a characteristic bar street with small bungalows distinctly adorned with traditional red lanterns. Although it is located downtown, the bars here are mostly quiet and natural compared with those more famous bar streets in Sanlitun and Houhai. With more than 740 years old, Nanluoguxiang, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Beijing, has been the best preserved old hutong structure of the Yuan Dynasty Period in Beijing.
