Located in Mengtougou District, Baihua Mountain is about 100 km from downtown Beijing. Due to the unique geographic location and typical mountain forest ecosystem, it is one of the areas with the richest biodiversity of lithoid mountains in North China.

There are various categories of animals and plants in Baihua Mountain. In terms of plants, there are 485 genuses of 130 families including 400 species of medical herbs,. There are 170 kinds of animals including Leopards, Crossoptilon mantchuricum, black storks and golden eagles under national protection. There are also over 50 kinds of animals under municipal protection.

How to get there: Bus No. 929 Zhi from the west of Pingguoyuan Subway Station to Baihuashan Lukou, and then you could walk to the Baihua Mountain.
