Located at Zhuwo Village in Mentougou District, formed by Zhuwo Reservoir, Pearl Lake earned its name due to its oyster rich waters. Covering an area of 5 square kilometers, the lake is about 9 miles long. This lake is blessed with clear water as placid as mirror, in sunny days, the blue sky, white clouds and mountains reflecting shadows in the lake that providing an extraordinary sight. Visitors can go boating, fishing and shrimping on the lake. There was a railway arch bridge over the lake that has become a unique landscape attract large amount visitors.

There is a natural apricot blossom village on the lake. All spring and summer, hundreds of apricot trees are in full blossom with pleasant scenery. Mountains on both sides of the lake are steep and overlapping. In summer, rock cliffs are crowned with moss, flowers compete with vivid blooms, making this tourist destination well worth a tour.

Transportation: drive alongside Fushi Road and enter onto the 6th Ring Road and steer out of Jingla Road Exit, then enter onto Junzhuang Bridge, then drive onto G109 and keep driving for 38.7 km.
