Nearly everyone knows not so many cities in the world are as crowded and noisy asBeijingbecause of its large population, cars and residential and commercial buildings. Thus, traveling to the outskirts of it to seek natural beauty and serenity must be one of the most accelerated ideas on nearly every traveler’s mind, since the city is not beautiful because of too many cars and sky-rocketing buildings. Is this true indeed?
It is partially real I suppose, for too large population, too many cars and so densely built buildings are indeed irritable, especially when you are stuck in a stream of cars on the road or expressway, when you walk on the pedestrian and hear the noisy sounds of trumpets from different brands of cars or other vehicles, and when you have to walk across the street from an overhead bridge which is not easy to climb for seniors. Yet, it has its glamorous beauty too even you may think everything here seems not welcoming.
In the evening after you have finished a day’s work tasks and feel tired, you will probably want to have a good rest, which doesn’t mean slumber but something worth practicing. At dusk, if weather permits (you had better choose a sunny day in the spring), you can pace on a pedestrian beside the crowded street where numerous cars worm or quickly pass with loud noises. The first glance of it is definitely negatively common, but the beauty just cuddling inside it will gradually surface when you change your angles of viewing the things around you.
The sky is dark blue, not that crystal blue at noon, which has its beauty because of the clean feel of a soul but lacks the spirit of being serene and calm, somewhat like a young man in his 20s. He is full of energy and has a strong purpose of pursuing great things but lacks calmness and profound thinking. At dusk, the blue sky looks not that shining but is still beautiful because you will notice at its rims fiery red appears although this red color is not brilliant. When the two colors harmoniously coexist with each other, beauty comes, out of the heart of nature.
The roads are the ones you meet each and every day but appear different this time. The surrounding color darkens, and the appearance of it follows to become dim but not dead. Cars and other kinds of vehicles move in streamlines on the roads, with their headlights or taillights regularly flashing. This time, if you can pace onto the bridge near you, you will be quite generously rewarded.
Standing on the overhead bridge astride the street under which numerous cars pass in order, you will become an observer of stars or a spectacular view. Motor vehicles shine with their white, red or yellow lights, which just resemble the stars in the sky but are much colorful than them because of their amazing colors. In addition, standing on the bridge offers you an opportunity to view the ongoing traffic like a bird flying in the sky, the views near and afar all in your eyes. You can have a broader view of the world. Your nose can freely breathe, your heart can even jolly sing, and you will feel that your life turns to the promising direction.
You don’t have to stay here for too long, for the great beauty in a blink of an eye is already enough.
