1. Beijing Eunuch Culture Museum
This museum, located in Shijiangshan District, is the tomb of Tian Yi (田义), one of the most important eunuchs of the Ming Dynasty, and was built in 1605 and renovated in 1997 and open to the public in September, 1998. 400 years have passed, but the vivid carvings and delicate craftsmanship have been preserved. Stone statues and stone carvings are the main attractions of the museum.

2.China Watermelon Museum
This odd museum houses two floors. The first floor is a very spacious area, in which over 900 photos, wax watermelons, amber seed samples, statue models, graphs and calligraphic artworks are being exhibited, and all of them just tell us the history, planting, technology and culture of watermelon to us. The western side of the museum is a 1,000-square-meter multi-functional room, where many different kinds of small-scale exhibitions can be held.

3.China Bee Museum
This museum is not that big and is located inside the Beijing Botanical Garden in Haidian District. The exhibition mains includes the history of bee keeping in China, the resources of bee keeping, the biology of bees, bee technology results and so on. Pictures, graphs, samples and real items are the media that tell the stories of bees to each visitor.

4.Beijing Tin Toys Museum
Tin toys are not for children of today but for those who were born in the 1970s - 1980s. Now it is not easy to find such toys on the market, for children don’t play with them any more. However, they are the memory of us and a feature of a generation. Some have preserved this history by opening up a museum in Beijing to welcome “elder children”.

5. Beijing Police Museum
Do the police need a museum? The answer is “Yes!” In Beijing, you will be impressed by such a museum. It is located inside Dongjiao Minxiang in Dongcheng District, covering an area of 2,000 square meters. Now the museum has more than 7,000 items (including those related to the police that can date back to the Ming Dynasty and items from the overseas), among which over 1,500 items are being exhibited.

6.Beijing Gran Torino Museum
This is an amazing and lavish museum! As soon as you enter it, you will be astonished by the 160 Gran Torino cars, nearly all of which are domestic cars but some came from outside China. What the museum has are those that have already or nearly disappeared from our modern life, but the reflect the historical course of cars’ development in China and even the world. Car lovers cannot miss it!

7.China Goldfish Museum
This is the first goldfish museum in China. This museum tells us the the origin of goldfish, domestication and spreading.

8.Beijing Tap Water Museum
This museum is located at the first water factory in Beijing--Dongzhimen Water Factory. The main building of the museum is the preserved steaming house, which covers an area of 1,500 square meters. Items displayed in the museum include 130 related to water, 34 models and sand boards, and 110 pictures, which exhibit the panoramic view of the development of the tap water of Beijing.
