It's being reported Paul McCartney will be joining Johnny Depp in Disney's latest "Pirates of the Caribbean" film, "Dead Men Tell No Tales."

Although the movie has already been produced, the former Beatles member is set to appear in an extra scene that's been added by the movie's directors.

McCartney's role remains unclear so far.

However, it's being said that the musician is the key component of the scene.

McCartney is not the first famed English rocker to appear in the Pirates movies.

The Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards played Sparrow's dad in "At World's End and On Stranger Tides".

"Dead Man Tell No Tales" is the fifth installment in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise.

The film is due out sometime in May next year.
