The breeze is caressing your cheeks, the trees are budding, and everything is responding to the call of the spring. It is time to have a nice tour to experience these wonders by yourself. Taking a stroll on the soft grass, having an appointment with the budding flowers, sparing some time to enjoy the splashes of the river water and breathing the freshest air of a year, must be one of the most enjoyable thing in the lively season. 1.Hanshiqiao Wetland Nature Reserve Park

Abundant with interesting wildlife, calming scenery, and peaceful activities, Hanshiqiao Wetland Park is a superexcellent place for you to get your fix. You can bike or boat around the reserve to see the sights, or you have the option of using the telescopes in the Bird Watching Pavilion.

2.Wild Duck Lake National Wetland Park

The Yanqing area is known as the best eco-tourism county in China. Its lies among China's top ten leisure and tourism counties and the National Tourism Standardization demonstration county. The Wetland area is totally 3939 hectares with 389 kinds plants and 264 species of birds. It is the only wetland bird nature protected area in Beijing.

Getting there: Take Express Bus No. 919 at Deshengmen Bus Station and get off at Yanqing Dongguan (延庆东关). Walk to the opposite of the road to take Bus No. 921 to the Wild Duck Lake.

3.Rice Fragrance Lake Wetland Park

The Rive Fragrance Lake mainly consists of a natural lake of 400,000 square meters and the paddy fields around it. For those who love angling, this is an ideal land, for you can fish with your rods and barbecue after you have got some fish. Apart from fishing, the scenery here is gorgeous, as long as you visit this wetland in sunny days.

Getting there: Take Subway Line 13 to Longze (龙泽), get on Bus No. 543 to Sanxingzhuang Nankou (三星庄南口), and walk about 3.7 km to the park.

4.Nanhaizi Wetland Park

Beijing Nanhaizi Wetland Park is the largest wetland park in Beijing, covering an area of 11.65 square kilometers. It includes a glade landscape zone, an imperial culture zone, an ecological zone for leisure and a preserve for Milu deer, a unique deer species in China.

Getting there: Take Subway Line Yizhuang (亦庄线) to Jiugong (旧宫B2), and get on Bus No. 16 兴 to the park.
