Weds. night 10:00pm. We will invite the famous local musician Mr. Zhang Ke and his Jazz Band (Bass: Mr. Zhang Ke, Alto Saxe: Le Tian and Drummer: Mr. Xiaodou) to perform jazz music. Bring us a wonderful jazz world.

Opened in July '06 by legendary jazzman Liu Yuan - ex-manager of CD Jazz Cafe and Cui Jian's sax player since '84 - East Shore is a musician's jazz club: it's comfortable, authentic and fully devoted to music - at least judging by the number of hepcats who congregate here. The club hosts live bands from Thu-Sun, including Liu Yuan's own quartet which jams till the wee hours. Expect proficient musicians, standard-priced drinks and (for now) no cover charge.
