Situated north of Gaobeidian exit of Jingdong Expressway is a luxurious and elegant ancient building featuring the Ming and Qing styles. This is the China Red Sandalwood Museum.

The construction area of the museum is as large as 9,569 square meters. The musem has four floors, where the first three floors are used to exhibit redwood furniture and the four floor is a multimedia showroom. The entire exteior of the building takes on a strong sense of traditional folk culture, with its main gate made of wood. Its bricks look special and ancient.

The front square of it is paved by blue bricks and soaked by tung oil. This method was once only applied by the imperial families. When the museum was being constructed, some of the experts who once worked for the Forbidden City were invited to guide the building of the museum.
