Route Description: The route is mainly of mountain paths in Mentougou District with many curves and steep slope, which is suitable for professional cycling enthusiasts. Riding along the 108 National Highway, you can feel the mountain ecotourism and ancient temple culture. While both Jietai Temple and Tanzhe Temple are involved with many tourists gathering.

Cycling Line for Ancient City
Hangtianqiao-Moshikou-Junzhuang-Xiaweidian-Dongfanghong Tunnel-Qinyukou-Zhaitang Town-Yanhe Ancient City (single trip for 37.6km)
Route Description: Covering a route of 83.5 km, it is the longer and greater difficulty professional cycling route in Beijing. Mentougou District has abundant mountain resources with many curves and steep slopes.
From the Dongfanghong Tunnel to Zhaitang Town are rolling slowly road, but from Zhangtang Town to Yanhe Ancient City, cyclist need to ride uphill for 7 km and downhill for 7 km. Riding in the "rough" mountain road, cyclist can feel the charm of ancient cities in the west of Beijing.
