Beijing Youth Lake Park is located in west road, Outer Andingmen, Dongcheng District,covering an area of 169,800 square meters, 63,800 square meters in water area. The water surface is wide with a new building round. The Youth Lake outside Guang’anmen was the Imperial Palace of Jin Dynasty—Yuzao Pool. In 1990, the archaeological excavation of the site of Jin’s Imperial Palace proved its location. The year of 2003 was the 850th anniversary of the establishment of the Capital of Jin Dynasty—Zhongdu, the Xuanwu District Government established the “memorial palace for the Capital Establishment” in Binhe Park.

Youth Lake Park is among the first group of parks meeting the standard of the landscape greening construction in Beijing. Sitting o­n the serener side of the lake, the park appears as an original work of natures. Strolling in the park, you can enjoy a scene full of poetic and artistic conception: flowers, trees, lake and bright sun. Youth Lake Park has green lush trees in which water is as clear as mirror. Unique flowers and grasses grow o­n the bank; water pavilion is built in the center of the lake. Boat in the lake is delightful and relaxed.
