The most comfortable and contemporary hotpot restaurant in town. Each diner has their own individual tiny hotpot, equipped with a small camping-style stove.
The cooking here is done by dipping meat and vegetables in the boiling broth. Ding Ding Xiang’s dipping sauce–named jinpai jiang, or gold medal sauce–is the restaurant’s special recipe; this sauce won’t get watery until you have finished your hotpot.
Hotpots aside, this is worth a visit just to taste the shaobing, home-baked bread covered with sesame seeds, served still warm from the oven.
