Beijing Snow World Ski Resort is located in the Ming Tombs area in Changping District in the north area of Beijing, about 40 km from downtown Beijing. Beijing Snow World Ski Resort is the nearest ski resort to the city center of Beijing among all the open ski resorts around Beijing only within a half hour’s drive.

The Reception Center (ticketing office) is at the right side of the main entrance to the ski resort. Inside the reception room and on its wall, you will see the posted prices both for skiing and ski learning at Ski School. Entering the gate and walking through a wide stone-paved path sandwiched by two playgrounds for sliding in snow tubes and sledding, guests will soon reach the ski area. The ski area is perched on the mountain slopes facing north. On guests’ right hand (west) is the Ski Equipment Rental Service Building where rentals for boots, skis, snowboard and ski apparel are available.

Beijing Snow World Ski Resort has one advanced ski trail of 500 meters, one intermediate trail of 380 meters and 3 beginners' trails of 380 meters each. A ski coach team is provided to teach and promote skiing and snowboarding for beginners and kids. On the left side the ski resort is a coffee shop and Chinese restaurants. All the windows face the ski trails and people can sit there and see through the windows for better views of the ski area.
