The siding at Migas has been up for over six months, and the donut holes an elusive treat only awarded to the most deserving of recipients, but the 1949 outpost of Traitor Zhou’s Nonkosher Delicatessen has beaten everyone to the punch, materializing in record time.
Formerly Spoonful of Sugar (now an independent operation in Dashilar) and located in 798 (now the Traitor Zhou’s production kitchen), this latest incarnation of Chef Max Levy’s Okra Works wunderkammer packs plenty of punch into a tiny space.
The chief attractions are the sandwiches, made with Traitor Zhou’s bagels and filled with unexpected combinations of the meat and vegetarian variety. To ensure peak freshness, the sandwiches are available in limited quantities and sell out quickly, especially during the lunch rush.
