To response to the call of One Belt, One Way Initiative of the central government of China and showcase his art works that reflect local customs and practices of the Silk Road, Chinese artist Lin Feng is about to hold his ink painting show at the National Art Museum of ChinaMay 20 - June 1.

Lin Feng was born in 1938 and from Fuqing of Fujian province. He is member of Fujian Chinese Artists Association, Fujian Artists Association, Xinjiang Artists Association, national level artist, vice chairman of Chinese Famous Artist Association, vice chairman of Artists Association of Beijing Dongcheng District, researcher of Wu Guanzhong Art Research Center of Tsinghua University.

After graduation from Xiamen Institute of Arts and Crafts in 1961, Lin Feng volunteered to work in Xinjiang Autonomous Region and once acted as vice president of Painting and Calligraphy Academy of Urumqi. During the over 30 years working in Xinjiang, he traveled all over the area of Tianshan Mountains and created a large number of works of art themed on minority, winning national and Xinjiang creation awards for several times.
