Location:14 kilometers north of Zhaitang County in Mentougou district (门头沟区斋堂镇), Huangcaoliang Mountain is known as the pearl of the ancient road.

Elevation:The main peak is 1773 meters high and is one of the highest peaks in the southwest Beijing area.

Features: The slope is gentle and the top of the mountain is quite dry due to the high water permeability of the rocks. Areas above 900 meters are forested, with mostly shrubs below 900 meters. From the top of the mountain, the view is of magnificent mountains overlapping into the horizon. The sunrise on the mountaintop is also a moving experience. The enemy tower was meticulously constructed over 400 years ago, and now it is as majestic as ever before.(It was written in the Chinese version, I don’t understand it, either)

Car Route: Drive west along National Highway 109 to reach the mountain.

Bus Route:Take Bus No. 929 from Pingguoyuan (苹果园) to Zhaitang (斋堂镇) or Bus No. 326 to Wentan (问滩) and transfer to the long-distance bus to Zhaitang. After arriving in Zhaitang, take a minibus (about 15 yuan) to the mountain.
