Since the establishment, the Olympic Forest Park has been considered a paradise for running. It is located on the north area of the Olympic Park and on the north end of Beijing’s central axis. It is the largest city park under construction in Beijing up to now. During the 2008 Olympic Games, it was also considered to be a backyard garden. As a scenic spot for natural landscapes, the Olympic Forest Park is a best place for citizens to relax and run. Well equipped, there are totally two tracks: a short one and a long one. The long track is about 10 km and the short one is 5 km.
