Located atSanlitunSouth, Flamme has long been crowned as the best value-for-money establishment in Beijing. Most customers come to Flamme for a taste of its famous Australian tenderloin (RMB 108), tart watercress, and cherry tomato salad.
As a matter of fact, this modestly luxurious American restaurant also boasts a kind of Classical Beef Burger (RMB 88), which takes steak tartare, fried eggs, bacon, onion, tomato, and cheese as the main ingredients. Paired with the burgers in the plates are potato granules dipped with chicken soup and seasoned with fennel and cumin.

Also notable is the pork tenderloin in milk brine (68 RMB), a process that the menu states takes two days to brine. The milk cooking technique is supposed to ensure tenderness and this pork was soft and tender, but not juicy.
Flamme would put on shelf new cocktails and dishes every season. Take this summer for example, it promotes a brand new sea food plate (RMB 98), which features cuttlefish roes, tiger prawns, seashells, mussels, and corn cobs, with milk as the brine.
