Located on the sixth floor of the Sofitel Luxury Hotel, the VIC International Cuisine Restaurant has been a favorite among local Beijingers and foreign expatriates. The several theme buffets promoted each Friday and Saturday by the restaurant are especially intriguing. You can glut yourselves with Australian, Chinese, Mexican, Indian, and American style barbecues and Kronenbourg 1664 for only RMB 520.

The buffet lunch on Saturday (RMB 175) features Cantonese delicacies and VIC’s signature dishes and desserts; the Brunch on Sunday (RMB 420, 520, 620) boasts fresh Tasmania oysters, Poston lobsters, and Alaskan crab legs. What’s more, fried goose livers and beefsteaks are among the must-haves.

The restaurant also houses a dessert quarter famous for its French pastries - creamy chocolate mousse, crisp puffs and various fruit tarts. Talking about drinks, you should never miss the Laurent-Perrier brut.
