Galeries Lafayette (China) Limited was founded as a 50/50 joint-venture between Galeries Lafayette and I.T Ltd. Its first China store was opened in Beijing in September 2013. It is located at the junction of Xi’dan North Avenue and Lingjing Hutong, and has become the most popular and vibrant shopping area in Beijing.

The store covers a total area of over 47,000 square meters spreading over six floors. In addition to carrying the heritage of Galeries Lafayette, the concept of the store focuses on several key differentiations including a wide array of unique and exclusive selections that can be found only at Galeries Lafayette Beijing.

A mix-and-match attitude pervades the store and the latest trends are expressed across each product category. Our team goes around the world to select and constantly introduce new trends, brands, product categories, F&B concepts, shopping experiences and animations. The customers will see and feel the uniqueness which is very different from other stores - fashionable, trendy, audacious, generous, playful and innovative.

In addition, Galeries Lafayette is also a platform for new designers to launch their collections. We are committed to helping young talented designers and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their collections. In Beijing, we will have an area dedicated to local designers - The Beijing Labo - sets the tone of the store’s contemporary designer floor.
