The Beijing Aardvarks Rugby Club is an international club team training weekly. They gather every Thursday evening at their home grass pitch - 26 degrees. The 2014 season is underway with matches for the Beijing Cup and various club tours around the country/pacific. Join the ranks!
The Aardvarks are Beijing’s most social rugby team! Started in 1999 by a bunch of students who missed playing rugby and some keen-to-learn Chinese friends, the Aardvarks have grown season by season. Comprised mainly of young professionals & students, the Aardvarks is all about meeting new friends, playing good rugby, having fun, and drinking hard.

The team has grown from pub meetings on Friday nights (running around against whoever we could on Saturdays) to being a founding member of the Beijing Cup competition. They have also hosted teams from all over the world and traveled to various Chinese cities to participate in rugby tournaments. They are now looking for new people who are keen to enjoy some good rugby, make good mates and have a great time.
The Aardvarks are proud to be Beijing’s most multinational team. In just over ten years of the club’s history players from 45 countries have pulled on an Aardvark’s jersey on a Saturday.
