This market is located in the south central area of Beijing, just to the east ofthe Temple of Heaven. It is an indoor mall with five floors up, filled mainly with cheap electronics, watches, cell phones, garments, shoes, bags, pearls and jewels, each floor having a specialty theme on the goods that they sell. All the items for sale are almost perfect 1:1 copies of the original brand versions.

Bargain for the deal is must to do in here. Our advice is, Haggle very hard if you want a good price - never pay anywhere like the price they first quote. We suggest for haggling is to know the fair price for what you're buying, If you're not getting near the price you want then walk away - they will often chase you and give you the price you wanted, and if they don't then there plenty other places to try, many same shops!

Hong Qiao market is not a bad option. The selection looks comprehensive with medium quality, almost all household supplies you could find in here. Hong Qiao can be reached by bus but it’s probably most convenient by taxi. Just hand the Chinese name (红桥市场) to the taxi driver.
