All-You-Can-Eat Sushi

All-You-Can-Eat Sushi

2013-12-03

As far as gluttony goes, all-you-can-eat (AYCE) buffets around Beijing are aplenty. You can find many different options, but AYCE sushi is one option you can take advantage of if fish is your thing. We’ll discuss a little more about AYCE sushi below.

In Beijing, there are over 50 restaurants that specialize in all-you-can-eat Japanese fare, especially those that specialize in sushi. At restaurants like these, you have access to ordering from the menu different types of sushi rolls, sashimi, sushi platters and more. Some of the best will offer besides some of the freshest selection of fish cuts, but also other seafood like clams, mussels and shrimp. In addition, your meal isn’t limited to just cold, raw sushi. You can enjoy broiled stuffed clams and oysters, grilled beef, soup, tempura, and much, much more.

As for drinks, the majority of them will offer unlimited drinks, including, but not limited to, soft drinks, juices, smoothies, teas, beer and sake. On offer for desserts, many will have a self-service table full of fruits, cakes, and sometimes ice cream.

You can expect to pay anywhere from 100 to over 200 RMB per person. Look for deals, especially lunch time prices. Dinner prices are the most expensive and dinner service starts after 3 or 4 p.m., so if you’re thinking of having a late lunch or early dinner, consider visiting the restaurant a little earlier to see if you can avoid paying full price.
