Changyucheng Village is located in Changping District, 54 km away from the center of Beijing, and 880 meter above sea level. In this area there are lush trees, fresh air and all kinds of flowers. In different seasons, there are different views. At the same time this village has a long history, and was an important pass defending Beijing during the Ming Dynasty.

There are 165 households in the village, and 378 villagers in total. This village covers a very large area, and has become one of the city-class folk cultural villages in Beijing. It mainly focuses on eco-tourism and has 11 households which can accommodate 800 tourists at one time.

Changyucheng Village features the ancient town architectural style, and has about 600 years of history. In this village there are the well-protected Weng Town, town walls, ancient houses and temples. The town walls divide this village into a new village and an old one. Between the two villages stands a famous temple named "Yongxing Temple", which is a unique building which combines Taoism and a temple. In addition, there is an opera theater in this temple too. There is also an ancient bell inside the bell tower and there are still opera performances in this village too.

Bus Routes: Take Bus No. 345 to Changping North Station, and transfer to Bus No. 33 to get there; or take Bus No. 357 at Dongguan to Liu Village, and transfer to Bus No. 33.

Driving Routes: Exit Badaling Express at Changping or South Exit, drive to the Xifeng Mountain and Goukou Road (North Xiling Road) from the southwest when you arrive at Liucun Town Ring Island, turn left and continue driving when you see the road sign to Changyucheng Folk Cultural Village.
