Hyun-Su Shin, a young Korean violinist, will tour Beijing with her violin recital on Dec. 7, 2013. As a graduate of Korean National University of Arts, she won first place of the Concours Long-Thibaud-Crespin in 2008 when she was just 21 years old. In the same year, she was recommended by Orchestra national de France and Prince of Monaco Albert II to study at Conservatoire de Paris. In 2009, she co-performed Mendelssohn’s Violin Sonatas with the National Symphony Orchestra Washington.

In 2012, she won third place in the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium. Ever since then, she has cooperated with world-renowned orchestras, giving tour performances in different parts of the world, such as Western Europe, Taipei, Taiwan, China, and Japan. She was invited by the NHK Symphony Orchestra to perform as a guest solo violinist for its Tokyo Concert. In 2010, she cooperated with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra to host a new year’s concert.
In 2008, she held her Asia Tour Concert and performed at the auditorium of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Apart from this, she is often invited to perform at some international festivals.
