Right in time for the ninth International Garden Expo, China’s first ever hot air balloon theme park will open at the Expo Garden in Beijing on May 18.

The theme park features hot air balloons, which are ride-able, tied to the ground with ropes. The balloons will float 50 meters above the ground, giving tourists an (almost) bird’s eye view of the surroundings.

Each balloon can carry five people at a time for ten minutes. It’s a bit pricey though, as you’ve got to fork out 150 RMB for a go.
