The Olympic Park Ice Carnival will be held in Beijing from December 18 to March 1. The event will feature 50,000 sq. m of snowy goodness for you to make a snowman, have snowball fights, go sledding and even ride a snowmobile. This year, the festival organizers are even bringing in penguins and polar bears for a special show.

Beijing large custom made program opens in Beijing Olympic Park on north of the Beijing Olympic Stadium. The second period of Olympic Park Ice-Snow carnival welcomes the guests on 500 meters north of the Beijing Olympic Stadium.

During the 77 days’ ice-snow carnival scene, there is playing snow and play fun of snow places and many large projects such as polar region animal show, entertainment tents, parent-child paradise and so on. It is free of charge for the children under 1.2 meters. The Beijing Olympic ice-Snow Carnival stretches across Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Spring Festival and Festival of Lanterns four festivals this year. Tourists who want to enjoy the entertainment can take the No.937 branch 5 bus to Guanganmen get off and by No.939 to Asian Sports Village then walk to the Beijing Olympic Stadium. Tourists also can take the No.454 bus to Youanmen get off and walk to Youanmen east and by No.939 bus to Asian Sports Village then walk to Beijing Olympic Stadium.
