Beijing's Metro System: The Story of Line 10

Line 10 of the Beijing Subway (Chinese: 北京地铁10号线; pinyin: běijīng dìtiě shíhào xiàn) is the second loop line in Beijing's rapid transit network.

Half of the Line 10 loop, north and east of the city centre, has been in operation since July 19, 2008. The other half of the loop, in the south and west, is now under construction. In the north, south and west, the Line 10 loop is situated in between the city's Third and Fourth Ring Roads. In the east, Line 10 runs underneath the eastern Third Ring Road. When Line 10 is fully completed on September 30, 2013, it will form a second concentric ring around the Line 2 loop. The full Line 10 loop will have 45 stations in all, with 24 transfer points to other subway and suburban rail lines.

Flat fare of RMB(¥) 2.00 with unlimited transfers.

Hours of Operation

The first east-bound train departs from Bagou at 5:05am. The first north-bound train departs from Jinsong at 5:53am. The last east-bound train leaves Bagou at 10:25pm. The last north-bound train leaves Jinsong at 11:13pm.
