We’ve gotten good review so far about Korea town. Many people however, still don’t know how to find it or what Korea town actually is. Its a small areal of Wangjing that is becoming more and more famous with each passing week.

For those who have found it, they can tell you that it sits at the edge of a large street. I thought the Koreatown should be the as same as the Hauwei store on Xidan street. But Korea town is just a small storied building that included two layers. So, for us, it was a bit disappointing.

After we went in, we found that the kinds of products that were soled there were quite rich and full of culture. They included and ranged in everything from clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, tableware, household wares, teas, and many other small inside boutiques. Most of the staff here is in fact Korean. But even though many can speak English, it would be convenient to speak a little Mandarin to them during your visit.

There are only three or four clothing shops and most of the clothes here are ordinary. One of the bosses here told me that all of the products came from Korea.

But, we also noticed that some of these clothes were better for middle-aged women. The most recommended store is the only jewelry shop on the first floor. The outdoor signboard is written in Korean and the inside counter writes” the Pearl of Queen,” which maybe the name of this shop. The owner is a Korean girl who is very beautiful, not to mention fashionable. The jewelry here is all well designed with delicate styles and the price ranges from hundreds to thousands of dollars. The only pity is we are not allowed to take pictures. So you can only visit this shop on your own time to see the sights that we described above.

The Zhongfu Department Store

While you’re in the Wangjing area, take a trip over to the Zhongfu department store.

It’s a well-known store in the Wangjing area. The first floor is full of Korean cosmetics and Korean ornaments. Many stores here are world-famous brand with cheap prices. Therefore, it is often very crowded. The clothes though are of pretty good quality.

The clothes are are modern and trendy. Yes, you can choose all kinds of fashionable clothes here with less money. But it is worth mentioning that almost all products are foreign trade goods. So head over there during the weekend or after you’re finished visiting Korea Town.
