The Terminal 3 food-service area is called a “global kitchen,” where 72 stores provide food ranging from formal dishes to fast food, from Chinese to western, from bakery goods to ice cream. Airport officials promise that people who buy products at the airport will see the same prices as in Central Beijing.

In addition to food and beverage businesses, there is a 12,600-square-meter domestic retail area, a 10,600-square-meter duty-free-store area and a nearly 7,000-square-meter convenience-service area, which includes banks, business centers, Internet services and more. At 45,200 square meters, the commercial area is very large. Terminal 3 is larger than London Heathrow Airport's 5 terminals combined with another 17% to spare.

A wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops are dotted throughout the 3 terminals of the airport.

Omega store opens at Beijing Airport

Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) Commercial and Trading Co (ACT) and Swatch Group-owned Tech-Airport have opened an Omega boutique at BCIA Terminal 3. The boutique marks the completion of the second phase of the watches retail development at the terminal, following the opening of a 210sq m Hour Passion multibrand outlet in January.

ACT Market Development Director Foster FU said that the new store offers jewellery and small leather goods as well as Omega watches, and helps passengers broaden their understanding of the brand and its products.BCIA’s T3 watches offer was profiled in last week’s The Moodie Report China Issue 2 as part of a report on Tech-Airport’s business in China.Fu said: “We believe that the professionalism with which Hour Passion presents its products to passengers will quickly lead to a big increase in sales.”

Nowadays, a new 24-hour duty-free store opened in Beijing's Capital Airport Terminal 2 on November 2. The store, located by the No. 5 baggage claim stocks a variety of cosmetics, tobacco, alcohol, foods and other goods.
