The Chinese rose, which is commonly referred to as the Yueji Flower, can be seen everywhere.

It is one of the top ten flowers in China and it is commonly referred to as the “Queen of Flowers.” The Chinese rose has a kind of tough and unyielding spirit. The pink Chinese rose symbolizes love, elegance, nobleness and thankfulness.

The red Chinese rose represents pure love, passionate love, chastity and courage. While the white Chinese rose, on the other hand, symbolizes noble, pure and innocence.

The best time to appreciate these Chinese roses is from May to October. There are some viewing sites of which, although may not be familiar to you, are sites that we can recommend to you. They are: The Rose Garden of Beijing’s Botanical Garden, Taoranting Rose Garden, The World Flower Grand View Garden, the Temple of Heaven Park, Shougang Rose Garden as well as Beijing’s Street Gardens.

The Rose Garden of Beijing Botanical Garden was completed in May 1993 with a total area of seven hectares. The rose Garden is located in the southeast of Beijing’s Botanical Garden. The south area of the garden is close to Xiangyi Road, the northern end is nearer to the Yangshu District. The west stretches to the south gate of the Botanic Garden. The rose garden mainly aims at showing configurations of different types of roses in different environments.

It mainly focuses on the overall effect of both the special rose garden and the newly displayed garden. The unique shape of each flower shelves and the novel layout techniques have formed great vertical greening effect. The rose garden not only show the variety of Chinese roses, but also provide other fifteen kinds of superior flowers like Jinshan gold flame Spiraea, purple leaf cherry and so on.

The Rose Garden in Taoranting is the most charming place for this season. More than four hundreds kinds of Chinese roses are blooming in the branches. They are blue, red, purple, white, pink and yellow and so on. Just look at the yellow rose stretching their bright petals and spit the yellow buds. After a gentle breeze, you will smell light fragrances, which will wharf throughout you mind. The rose garden will be even more fresh after it rains and the roses will be surprisingly more beautiful.

The third Beijing Rose Cultural Festival was opened on May 26th, 2012. The World Flower Grand View Park is the branch of the venue that held the first famous rose exhibition show and presented a sea of roses to the capital some time ago. The exhibitors of the rose exhibition have hundreds of years of experience. It’s a great place to spend the start of your weekend in the city.
