Welcome to The Great Wall Box Hostel, our hostel locates at the most traditional Chinese countryside -- Gubeikou village, which lies to the northeast of Miyun county of Beijing, the scenic spot is about 120 km away from Beijing. We are a Si-He-styled house with the history over 100 years, one sidewall of the countyard is from the Great Wall.

With the fresh air, the dense vegetation and the beautiful scenery around, you can do hiking on the Great Wall from 1 day to 10 days, or just relax in our yard.

Gubeikou is like a Great Wall museum, from Bei Qi dynasty (6th Century) - Ming dynasty (14th Century). that's to say 'the Great Wall was built not in one day.

The Great Wall Box Hostel is located at Gubeikou Village, about 120 km away from Beijing City. Quadrangle-styled (or Siheyuan in Chinese), the main house has a history over 100 years, with one sidewall of the courtyard set against the Great Wall. This favored location, along with the mountainous scenery around, allows you always a spur to go hiking on the most classic sections of the Great Wall.
