Beijing's Apple Store

Beijing's Apple Store

2012-07-19

Just walk by the Apple store in Beijing’s Sanlitun neighborhood any day and you’ll begin to have an inkling of how popular this brand has become in China in just a couple of years.

Roughly 40,000 visitors enter Apple’s stores every day in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai. That’s up to four times as many as in any of the Apple shops in the United States.

As with many American companies, China is a highly lucrative market for Apple. The company’s chief financial officer was quoted earlier this year as saying, of all the Apple outlets in the world, the China stores clocks on average the highest traffic and highest revenue.

Apple's flagship outlet in China, this three-story, 995 sq. meter shop of beautifully designed digital gadgetry is an awesome testament to the power of technology in contemporary culture. The store is impressively designed and staffed with an army of knowledgeable salespeople.

Every employee here, in person or on the phone, is so incredibly nice, and it seems most employees speak pretty good English. But it seems there's too much demand for them to handle, but they're so sweet about it, and customers had better not be mad at them. They seem to be victims of their own success. There are just too many people trying to get the attention of their staff.

There are a variety of hardware to try out, as well as a large selection of accessories, a knowledgeable staff to assist you and a bright atmosphere. Definitely it is the place to go when you want all things Apple. In short, it is a great place to shop.

Beijing’s second official Apple store was built on Qianmen Street, just blocks away from Tianamen Square. It opened in the fall of 2009. Stop into one of the city’s trendy apple shops. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed, even if you happen to just be browsing through the area.
