Suren Handmade, a company barely known outside China, has been making high quality leather products for many years. It is my favorite place to buy quality bags and shoes that aren’t knockoffs or cheap fakes. Styles are original and quirky, like leather gladiator-style sandals embellished with horse hair, or slender leather wallets tied together with silk string looped through a jade stone.
