Double Dragon Gorge Scenic Spot is a newly developed scenic spot in the Western area of Beijing. It is located in the castle peak, green valley, 2.5 km south of fire village, Zhaitang Town and the Mengtougou District. The main image of Double Dragon Gorge Scenic Spot can be summarized quite succinctly: ten miles streams, the baekdamsa waterfall, one thousand mu apricots, a ten thousand hectare forest, a castle peak, a scenic green valley, a white hills area that looks like the sea and peaks that often tower so beautifully that its been called “small Jiuzhaigou” and "one hundred waterfalls, " by visitors of the area.

Double Dragon Gorge has many ornamental, medicinal and economic benefits. For starters, it produces soft green jujube, wild peach, rhododendron simsii, primula, rouge and cloves. It also produces zanthoxylum simulans hance, rose, embroidered red chrysanthemum, skullcap motherwort, abelia biflora, bupleurum, platycodon root , lily, wild strawberries. Visitors can view the area during different seasons. In addition to watching the natural scenery, visitors can pick large specialty apricots in fire villages at the end of June and in early July each year.
