People now cry for high efficiency and convenience of everything in daily life. Fast food or western food is what we get used to but what the fragile stomach can hardly bear. Richang Restaurant is the one. The management and the menu are authentically Canton-flavor, which sometimes makes you feel like that you were dining in Hong Kong, a daydreaming of fans of TVB series like me.

I have to admit that the dishes are really wonderful and worth the price.

Cantonese Roast Gourmet Clay-pot Rice (28 yuan) is authentic, delicious, not expensive, and big enough for three or four people to share. Different kinds of roast gourmet foods such as Roast Pork, Char Siew and Pork Sausage in a specially made sauce , makes the fragrant rice, which has a thin layer of brown of rice crust because of the heat of the clay-pot, more appetizing, and the scalded cabbage mustard as side dishes is adding nutrient to it.

Paper Chicken Wings (32 yuan for a dozen as a set) is a specialty here. The salted chicken wings covered in foil papers are barbecued, and the dried tangerine peel aroma in it is really fantastic. Set of half a dozen is for a table of three or four people.

Assorted Dishes of Marinated Tofu and Eggs (15 yuan) is a vegetarian dish, especially the Tofu, which smooth and tasty.

Honey-Stewed BBQ Pork (18 yuan) is a must-be on the table of a Cantonese family. As common in Cantonese cuisine, you can enjoy the authentic taste here.

Fruit Mix (RMB 30) is also a star dessert, which is a large bowl of smooth sweet coconut juice with cubes of fruits and refreshing chopped ice, as well as diced Guiling Jelly which is good for clearing heat and detoxicating. Just one bowl is enough for six people, and you can find it served on every table.

At the nightfall, you can come to Richang Cantonese Café, order several dishes, and indulge yourselves in the fragrance of Cantonese food and the simple but stylish surroundings. And you will realize that the flavor of Hong Kong is with you.
