Brief Introduction
Advantageously located in the beautiful Xiaotangshan town to the north of downtown Beijing, Laozhangtou Vineyard, an agritainment sightseeing garden in the city with a total area of approximately 13 hectares, features clean air, convenient transportation and a quiet and graceful ambience. It is adjacent to the Tangshan hot spring in the west, Yinshan Pagoda Forest in the north and JiuHua Resort & Convention Center in the east. Visitors at the vineyard can get to the downtown of Beijing easily by going straight down Litang Road from the Daliushu Roundabout. Based on itslocation advantage, the vineyard has become a green manor getting sightseeing, self-help picking and catering integrated and is hence an ideal option for sightseeing and entertainment. It mainly grows grapevines and some other crops.

Unlike other ordinary countryside sightseeing gardens, Laozhangtou Vineyard boasts a series of “Laozhangtou” branded products, including grapes, peanuts, sweet potatoes, Chinese dates and free-range eggs, among which the Laozhangtou grapes are the most important products. The grapes are produced as a result of deliberately selecting over 30 types of premium seedlings from major vine cultivation areas across China and cultivating them carefully. Now, tens of thousands of vines at the vineyard have entered the full-bearing age.
The thick sandy soil at Laozhangtou Vineyard enables good drainage and a large temperature difference between day and night, which is beneficial to the accumulation of plant nutrients and can assure early maturity and high sugar content, and therefore is most suitable for planting grape vines. In a move to form its own characteristics and unique taste, the vineyard adopts a combination of traditional and modern plantation and management technologies. It insists on using farm manure instead of chemical fertilizer and refuses to use highly residual pesticides, auxin, ripener and expansin, ensuring that its grapes have higher sugar content, thick and solid pulp and a good taste. What is especially worth mentioning is that Laozhangtou Vineyard is famous for its extremely sweet Kyoho grapes in Beijing.

The vineyard’s dining room can accommodate group package tourists, and it offers a series of farm-flavored dishes and kebobs as well as roasted whole lamb. In the dining room, you can taste the vineyard's self-made wine and enjoy pure draft beer at a price which is usually offered for common beer. While eating in the tidy and clean dining room, you can also enjoy the lively and beautiful countryside scenery around the vineyard. Buffet dinner and picnic services will be launched there as well.
