
Public transport capacity of Beijing will increase by 5 percent, namely 3,600 more buses per day during the red alert period for the heavy air pollution from December 16 to 21 are due to be dispatched according to the city’s traffic management body, December 15.

The Beijing Public Transport Corporation forecasts that the passenger flow will rise 500,000. At the time, the corporation will primarily dispatches 1,000 plus clean energy buses including pure electric, hybrid and natural gas vehicles.
