Located in Chaoyang District in Beijing, the Olympic Green includes 10 Olympic Games competition venues, 7 non-competition venues and a forest park covering an area of 6.8 square kilometers. The National Stadium (Bird's Nest, the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games) and National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), the most well-known landmarks in Beijing have become a representative of one of modern Beijing’s many symbolic images.

On October 1, 2016, as the main venue, the celebration square in front of the Bird’s Nest in the Olympic Green will welcome the grand opening ceremony of the 18th Beijing International Tourism Festival, and at the same time, the full-dress parades will make wonderful performances along the landscaped avenues through the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.
