Yesterday was the 30-day countdown of the opening ceremony of the WFRS (World Federation of Rose Societies) Regional Convention. According to the report, there will be more than 2,000 kinds of Chinese rose exhibited at the convention and the first Chinese Rose Museum will settle down in Daxing District.

Ma Xiaosheng, the executive deputy vice-director of Daxing Chinese Rose Office, said there will be over 2,000 species of Chinese rose at the convention which “Many of them are species that we can hardly see in our daily life. Chinese roses will exhibit as “Flower Sea” which will be definitely expressive to visitors.

The first Chinese Rose Museum in the world will settle down in Weishanzhuang Town, Daxing District. Ma said that the architecture of the museum looks like a “Chinese Rose”. The Museum will open to the public on May 18, the same day with the WFRS Regional Convention.

It is worth mentioning that Daxing District built new tourist spots including Romantic Rose Town Weishanzhuang, Artistic Pear Blossom Town Panggezhuang and eight other themed tourism towns.
