Reporters have learned that the 11th Changping Apple Festival will be held from October 18th to 26th in towns throughout the Changping District of Beijing. The nine-day festival will feature apple picking, orchard sight-seeing and other activities hosted by participating towns.

Changping District authorities have also set up four apple-picking tourism routes. The east route runs through Xingshou Town and Cuicun Town and includes scenic spots like Yinshantalin, Dayangshan Mountain, Jingzhihu Lakeside. The middle line includes Nanshao Town along with Mangshan Mountain Forest Park and Fengshan Mountain Spa Resort. The north line is mainly around theMing Tombsarea, including the Ming Tombs, Duijiuyu Valley and Gouya Scenic Zone. The west line links Liucun Town, Baiyanggou Scenic Zone and the Tank Museum.
