Tour Introduction
The first stop is the Huguang Guild Hall, the only remaining famous guild hall in Beijing built with an opera house. It was once a gathering place for literary masters. Nowadays, the opera helps to revitalize the former site of the Guild Hall. After experiencing the Huguang Hall, which is full of opera art, we head to the Fuzhou New Guile Hall to learn about the spirit and temperament of Lin Zexu. Then, we will go to the paradise of the Chinese literati, the "Boat House" Jinghua Printing and Publishing Company. The whole building is spectacular with its Tauric columns, cast-iron fancy railings and a large bell on the roof imported from Germany in the early years. When you are tired of strolling, you can go to 1920 Art Café, a century-old building, for a cup of coffee. Finally, you can go to the "Birthplace of Peking Opera" Landmark Stone Square to taste the art of Peking Opera.
