1. The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture

The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture (MCGALA) is the first national museum with the theme of gardens in China, covering an area of 65,000 square meters. With the concept of "Chinese garden - our ideal home", it is an important window to comprehensively display the long history, splendid culture, diversified functions and brilliant achievements of Chinese gardens.

The museum is mainly divided into exhibition halls, indoor exhibition gardens and outdoor exhibition areas, which are mutually interspersed and penetrated to form an exhibition whole. A variety of garden styles such as royal gardens, private gardens, Jiangnan gardens, northern gardens and Lingnan gardens are displayed, forming a geomantic omen precious landscape.

Taking advantage of the essence of southern gardens, the indoor exhibition garden has three landscapes: Chang Garden, Yu Yin Mountain Garden and Pian Shi Shan Fang Rockery Garden. Although Chang Garden is small in size, it is quaint and elegant. Surrounded by halls, pavilions, rockeries, lakes, flowers and trees, the pond is ancient and fragrant. 2. Beijing Garden Expo Park

Beijing Garden Expo Park is a large public welfare city park integrating garden art, cultural landscape, ecological leisure and science education. In April, the flowers in the park are in full bloom and are very beautiful!

There are 69 exhibition gardens in the Garden Expo Park, divided into traditional exhibition gardens, modern exhibition gardens, creative exhibition gardens, international exhibition gardens and wetland exhibition gardens. There is not only the gracefulness of Jiangnan, the magnificence of the North, the freshness of Japan, but also the gorgeousness of the West.

3. Luo Hong Photography Art Museum

The photographs here give people an eye-opening experience. The lions, elephants, zebras, antelopes, giraffes and other animals are vividly and realistically displayed in front of your eyes, which is particularly shocking! In addition to the photography exhibition, people will be amazed by the landscape outside the museum. The greenery, the pond, the rockery, the fish and the swans all form a scene of their own! 4. Nan Chi Zi Art Museum

Located next to the Donghua Gate of the Forbidden City, Nan Chi Zi Art Museum is a non-profit art museum. The main building is a Suzhou-style garden with a venue area of about 1,500 square meters. It inherits the architectural features of traditional Chinese aesthetics, as well as being an art space with international exhibition standards.

Xu Lei's solo exhibition "Xing Hui" is currently on display, so don't miss it if you are interested! Xu Lei is a renowned international artist, whose works will be exhibited at the China Pavilion of the 59th Venice Biennale from April 23 to November 27, 2022.
