The Vajrasana Pagoda was built in the 9th year of the Chenghua era (1473) of the Ming Dynasty in the Sino-Indian architectural style. It is made of bricks inside and stone outside, with exquisite carvings and inscriptions throughout the exterior. It is the most complete and early Vajrasana-style pagoda, and a masterpiece of ancient architecture and stone carving art in China.
