The Civil Aviation Museum is a civil aviation thematic museum designed and built in accordance with the modern streamline style and is open to the public for free. At present, 15 aircrafts have been collected, including IL-14, C-46, Trident, Airbus A310 and other aircraft reflecting various historical periods of China's civil aviation. The museum also has more than 7,000 pieces of documents and objects reflecting important historical events such as the "Hump" flight, the "Two Airline" uprising, the "August 1" flight, and the Lhasa test flight. The Civil Aviation Museum also has a multi-functional theater and simulators and other projects. The multi-functional theater includes three halls, including one IMAX giant screen hall, which can provide science education, leisure and entertainment services for visitors.
